CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love this movie (and so, btw, do my 17 and 19 yr old sons who watched it when they were little). Favorite scene: when Buttercup figures out that the "dread pirate" is really her love.

I liked the movie. I watched it a few days back for the first time with my best friend and it was kinda funny. The best character of all is the albino guy in the Pit of Despair. Holy crap.... that was funny.

I love the scene when Father Abruzzi (played by Wallace Shawn - Vizzini) delivers his speech on lust! It is as funny as his death scene in The Princess Bride.
"You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha... ACK!"

I know a girl who can do all the diolog in the movie, I watched the movie with her and she said the line right before the character would say it, she said she tried it once with out the movie and got all the way to the wedding scene
