There's a Precious Cycle in The Spirit , as is ordained by God , set in motion by Christ , which lifts us up and out of the vicious circle formed by the ensnaring nature of sin .
The Precious Cycle begins with Light .
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. <-----> Genesis 1:1-3
Light exposes what the darkness once covered .
Therefore , by The Light of Christ's Testimony , we are able to behold our true neediness .
Then comes division .
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. <-----> Genesis 1:4
And we are begun being divided within , with Christ's Light separating and dispelling the things of darkness .
And herein is a crucial point - For if we are unwilling to allow Christ's Light to divide and conquer the things of darkness within ; then we are opposing His Spirit of Grace , and such a conflict of interest will cause much comotion within , so that , one cannot continue to resist for long , before either we yield to God's Spirit , or we rage against Him to the point of blasphemy , and He is withdrawn .
This is how God is dividing us , to be either as sheep of His Pasture , or goats of His Wrath . There is no middle ground in this war , in which all must ultimately serve on one side or the other .
Yet , when it is said , " we cannot resist The Spirit for long " - this means , for the relatively short span of our earthly existence .
Truly , God is Longsuffering and Patient , and often strives with us right up until our dying breath .
But those 70 - 80 or so years , is not " long " in the truest sense of the word .
Back to The Precious Cycle -
As long as we keep submitting to The Will of God's Spirit , good fruit emerges ; and this good fruit has the virtue of encouraging yet further and more unrestrained submission , as God's Will for us is revealed in greater scope and clarity .
Once , we reach a certain point , where His Will has been submitted to at a predetermined level of consistency , there comes a great outpouring , and a whole other World begins to manifest in the sight and hearing of the new creature we've broken through to become .
This happens initially in a most notable fashion , but it doesn't end there , for it Cycles , like a wheel within a wheel gaining perpetual motion , onward and upward , so that the trees of the field rejoice with us and the mountains bow before us lest they be hurled out of the way by the Might of Christ's Spirit welling up within us unto overflowing .
This then , has a dividing effect on all those around us as well .
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. <-----> Genesis 1:6+7
( waters - symbolize peoples and nations )
To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? <-----> 2nd Corinthians 2:16
This allows for our Place to be established in Heaven , as those submitted to Christ , and our Fellowship is now with Him Who is Above all and Over all .
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. <-----> Genesis 1:8
And The New Day does therein Dawn !
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. <-----> 1st John 1:3
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: <-----> 2nd Peter 1:19
