Here is how I believe it may have looked:

The Earth was probably greater in size at that point in history, as this was prior to the 6 Days of Creation during which God most likely formed the Moon from pieces of the Earth. It is possible, however, the Moon existed during the reign of Lucifer the Archangel over these 'stones of fire'.

God poured out judgment, completely destroying Rahab (probably in a collision with Nibiru), and sending fragments toward Mars, Earth and Venus to punish the rebels on those planets. The Earth remained in waste until God said, 'let there be light'. :)

It is also possible Mercury was a moon of Venus, and Ceres a moon of Rahab. Any thoughts?
I am curious as to your take on the Split during the time of Peleg. Do you think this was a geological separation, or a demographic separation?

Yes, actually there is, assuming you subscribe to Occam's Razor.

Heh. Let me guess: Richard C. Hoagland.

Not only does he not know which letter the word science begins with, so to speak, but he's a quack that thrives on gullible people.

Look up the word paradeiola.

Or actually, just look up things (like, um... evidence) before you believe every website which has a cool "idea".

Since you are talking about Nibiru, I assume that you are influenced by Zecharia Sitchin. (So is Richard Hoagland.) Does it bother you that Sitchin is anti-religious? . . . as are most of those who are influenced by him?

There's no need to read him: there's plenty of resources on the "net, by qualified people, that shows Sitchin has no idea what he's talking about.

I read his first book, nice fantasy work but little else.

The man reached to come to his conclusions like you would not believe.

I've been on badastrony.com forums, and it got discussed a few times. I know the gist of his ideas, and I've read some very thorough debunkings.

Whether he really believes what he writes, or if he just writes it to earn money from gullible people: it's sad.

You seem to assume that I have not.
I have read two of Sitchin's books.

Sitchin gives his aliens technology reminiscent of what we had in the 1960's: nuclear weapons and multi-stage rockets. Lasers don't figure in Sitchin's scheme because they were not in wide use in the 1960's. Sitchin claims that alien "gods" first created humans to do slave labor like mining. It never occurs to him that a technology millions of years ahead of hours could build robots far more effective than human slaves. Likewise it never occurs to him that aliens millions of years ahead of our technology could probably create gold by transmutating elements if they needed it that badly.

Of course, Sitchin's astrophysics is impossible anyway.

How is it not possible?

It is widely speculated that Mars was once similar to Earth, including oceans of water on the surface. There is evidence to support this. There is also convincing physical evidence of a long-lost civilization on Mars.

As for Rahab, many astronomers believe it may have existed. They call it Astera.

I admit there is little evidence to support Venus once being an Earth-like planet. The surface on Venus is constantly being refreshed due to volcanic activity, so naturally there won't be any signs of erosion (by water), civilization, etc.

Many, if not most, astronomers speculate that the Moon was formed from pieces of the Earth (by gravity of course). Why do you disagree?
What evidence for a civilization on mars?

"What are you feelings on the use of orgone generators to block alien transmissions from cellphone towers? Or do you think cellphone towers are controled primarily by the government and not yet by aliens?"

I think that cell phone towers are profitable for those who own them.

Cydonia Mensae is an albedo feature (region) on Mars. It lies in the planet's northern hemisphere in a transitional zone between the heavily-cratered regions to the South, and relatively smooth plains to the North. Cydonia itself is covered in numerous mesas and may have been a coastal zone if planetologists are correct in believing that the northern plains were once ocean beds.
One of the Cydonian mesas, situated at 40°45' north latitude and 9°26' west longitude, took on the striking appearance of a human Face on Mars in a photo taken by Viking 1 on July 25, 1976. It is generally understood to be an optical illusion, an example of pareidolia. A few, most notably Richard C. Hoagland, believe it to be evidence of a long-lost Martian civilization along with other features they believe are present, such as apparent pyramids, which they argue are part of a ruined city. NASA has stated however that "a detailed analysis of multiple images of this feature reveals a natural-looking face whose appearance seems the same as a 10 year old boy's face depending on the viewing angle and angle of illumination."[1] On September 21, 2006, the European Space Agency published new photographs of the Cydonia region taken by the Mars Express probe.[2] The new images are at a resolution of less than 14 m/pixel (46 ft/pixel).
On October 23, 2006, the European Space Agency published a 3D animation of the "Face on Mars" using a combination of digital data from the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on the Mars Express probe and the Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) on board NASA's Mars Global Surveyor.[3]
On April 11, 2007, the HiRISE team on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter released a new picture of the "Face on Mars"Popular Landform in Cydonia Region.

I'm still undecided wheather or not Mars actually had intelligent life but hey anything is possible.
