Father God, we lift up our sister Barbara to you. We ask that You would comfort her in her sickness. Help her to relax and rest, that health might be restored to her. We ask that Your gentle loving presence would cheer and guide her as she weathers these winter ailments. Thank you for looking out for her good and gracious Lord. In Jesus' name, amen!

I'd appreciate prayer for my work. It's a bit of a minor request, but here goes:

I made contact with some people for a project I'm working on and gained their cooperation. Then a fellow employee asked them to deeper involvement in our project, and they said no. Not only no, but they were considering backing out altogether.

I really really don't want that to happen. I already planned the project with them included and it would be more work for me if they backed out. I'd have to rework everything. I know this is not an earth-shattering situation -- there are a lot worse things in life (death, illness, crime, car accidents, terrorism, poverty, conflict, not knowing Jesus, etc.). Still, in this particular case, I just don't want to do anymore work. I've put tons of effort into this and can't bear the thought right now of having to do it all over again. Sigh.

Could someone say a little prayer for me, please? I am so lonely. Not for a man, nothing like that, but just for a good friend. I just want a really good true friend. I know Jesus is our ultimate friend but I want a flesh and blood friend. It's a common request I know but sometimes I feel it so deep. Somebody who will like me for me, sometimes I think I am not funny enough or witty or fun enough but I know God could send a friend that will like me for me. I have had friends like that but I am in a dry spell now, we have drifted apart, as I know friends will do...anyway someone please just whisper a prayer for me, thanks so much.

Father God, You are indeed our best and dearest friend. Where would we be without You? And yet, You also provide us with human friends, to share life with, to encourage and laugh with, to offer counsel to and receive counsel from. We ask that You would swiftly bring a true dear friend into our sister nb37's life. Someone who will recognize her for who she is -- her strengths, her quirks, her talents and insecurities, her loving spirit. Lord God, I know that You go before us, so I believe that even now You have in mind a friend, maybe two, who will come into her life soon. We thank You for taking care of Your daughter nb37 in this way. You are so strong, good and true Lord. We give you thanks and praise. In Jesus' name, amen!

Lord Please Help our dear sister as she crys out for you she is lonely and even You Lord on this earth had special friends those in your innner circle .
so Lord I pray that you give her some special and dear freinds that she can be real with and just be her no matter what . In Jesus name i ask this

Lord Jesus, I pray for my sister that that you would provide a friend for her, someone who would encourage her at this point of her life, who would pray with her and pray for her, would would laugh and cry with her...Lord, we look forward for our answer to our prayers...In Jesus name, Amen...
