Andy,no we were not aware of anything at all, even tho' we were awake at the time. Seems that it was happening all around us. Did your home suffer any damage? It must have been quite a scarey experience.

No. Thankfully or house does not have a chimney, and appears to be undamaged.

It was a little unnerving while it was happenning as nobody knew at first what it was, but it was kinda exciteing to be at the centre of it all
