I was inspired to create this thread based on another thread by Multifavs

We need more positive and creative threads

We have a lot of negative threads and pointless debates here on CF. It's not good for positive relationships with one another or our mental and emotional health, and it doesn't exactly make us look good. I'd like to see more threads about fellowship and creative topics, which don't seem to be...

Here's something positive from me: I'm currently reading a book that is growing my understanding in certain Bible books/passages.

I'm currently learning Koine Greek. That was the language that the New Testament was originally written in.

I've been slacking and haven't been doing the lessons.

I was watching free lessons on YouTube. I completed 2 of the lessons, but I thought number 3 was a bit hard. I need to do it again.

Learning a language is difficult. And it takes perseverance.

I wish I could have reading and writing exercises of the Koine Greek.

I understand the perspective that learning a language should be done as a child learns, but I believe I will benefit better if I also have reading and writing.

When you're feeling depressed, you wouldn't want to do anything, except watching videos or playing video games. It could become a habit of procastination. This could end up wasting your precious time.

So why not do less? Instead of reading a whole book, read just one small page. Instead of ten minutes of exercises, try one minute. Instead of praying five decades of the Rosary, pray just one.

Small steps still count. I got this advice from someone, it's what I need,

I listened to a Charles Stanley sermon yesterday. It made me realize I needed to make several changes.

I decluttered my phone today. There were several things in there that I didn't need anymore. Plus it's good for the battery when apps, photos, etc. don't hog much internal storage.
