Here's an example of circular logic. Who says the pope is infallible? The pope.

So if the doctrine of papal infallibility wasn't imagined until 1869-1870, were the previous popes fallible, or did they just not know they were infallible? And by not knowing they were infallible, doesn't that prove their fallibility? My head hurts.
I could try to explain it but it might be considered agianst the rules of since I am not a Calvinist and I would be teaching in your sub forum
