It's quite simple why people bash homosexuals instead of people who are uncharitable. It's easy. Those who bash homosexuals can be safe in knowing they won't do homosexual acts, and can hide any homosexual feelings they have. On the other hand, a person has to give to charity to be able to criticise the uncharitable.

In other words, to bash homosexuals, all one has to do is talk away. To criticise the uncharitable, one actually has to do something, and be, well, charitable.

We feed the poor and the lazy by paying taxes.

Correction: you feed a portion of the poor within your own country with taxes. In developed countries a tiny percentage of tax dollars goes to feeding poverty-stricken people in other countries, but often only in countries in great crisis.

Lazy people often find more lucrative ways of being lazy than recieving welfare, such as a getting jobs that don't require much learning, skill, or work, or they exploit their unpolished talents for all they are worth. The dishonest lazy people also become good at manipulating others. It's amazing how much work goes into being a lazy person, actually. There are lazy people in every career path, some of them making a lot of money.

No one in this thread has called poor people lazy. Why is everyone trolling for controversy?

The juxtaposition implied that poor people are lazy, and indeed that the government props up lazy people, as if lazy people constitute a significant proportion of those on benefits.
