The Polar Express

I read the opinions from Yahoo Movies....and a lot of people rated this movie an F....Course, more people rated it an A...Probably 3 times as many...Just curious though what people thought of this holiday flick...I loved it personally. My mom read me the book when I was young, as she did all of Chris Van Allsburg's books, and that's what got me into reading, and eventually into teaching. I guess you can say, "The Polar Express" got me to where I am today. Anyway, what do you all thing of this movie. Please tell the honest truth...Wait a second...I'm talking to Christians...Never mind...heheheh..

personally...i think yahoo is a terrible source of reviews if you look at it individualistically. with that said...i haven't seen it, but i want to.

i've read in many places and I haven't found anyone yet that likes it. Stuff like "They traded the human quality for thrills". Plus the commercials show no plot.

I'd like to see it just for the animation; it look spectacular.

i'd rate it a 8 out of 10, sometimes the children looked freaky, I liked the Incredibles better
