I am wondering though how many pedophiles get involved in the CC because the traditions allow for access to easy targets.

A "celibate" priesthood makes a good hiding place for a ped. They have access to kids and people trust them. Perfect setup for a molester.

OK, the point I was making has nothing to do with celibacyor the CC but with the position itself.

Really how many ped's do you know become scout leaders, teachers, coachs, so forth to get to the children because they have access without questions....a great deal.

There is no difference in a church setting. You can't ignore that they have had a significant number of individuals doing this crime. Why can't it be as simple as it is just one more media to have easy access?

Goodness, look at teachers and the mass number they are finding to be committing this crime.
