When I saw the movie, I was speechless. The entire week after seeing it I didn't talk very much. Nothing really seemed important to me after seeing what He went through for me. I plan on buying the DVD so that if I ever lose focus, or forget what He did for me, that I can pop it into my player, and be reminded.

I saw the movie in march as well. I was in awe the afterwards. Me and my best friend Lachelle and our whole youth group went. After the moive went black nobody in the theater moved or spoke. My first reaction was how could he go threw all that, being spat on, beaten, and nailed to a cross then still sit there and say " father forgive them, for they know not what they do". I would be like " God u see what the pplz did to me u better get em!" LoL but on a serious note, It just made me realize how much Jesus really does love us. I was thinking the other day that if i were God i would really feel like giving up on us. He created Adam and Ever for the purpose of having company that would worship him. They turn against him and rebel. All the people he created go astry basically so he manfiests himself in the flesh as Jesus to try to come down here and show us the right way again and we crucifiy him and nail him to a cross and yet even still today we still rebel. The movie just really made me think and even made me alot closer to God :groupray:

I saw the movie at the theatres and I have it pre-ordered the DVD at the local Christian bookstore (they were running a special!). My brother wanted to go and see it at the theatre, but he never had the "time." We had talked about some things, but I plan on letting him borrow it and we'll see where it goes . . . also, I want to see the "extras" they have on the DVD. I do not watch much tv, nor do I have cable, so I didn't see all the interviews and making of and all that . . . I find that sort of thing interesting on any movie.

I saw Passion of the Christ when I was in Kelowna for the weekend with a couple of my friends and after I saw the movie I was so speechless and all I thought was why did he do that for us? we totally don't deserve it at all, at least I know I don't, I love Jesus so much and I long for him but at the same time I feel I am not making the effert to talk to him but I am going to try my very best. I am going to buy the DVD I will not watch it constantly because some ppl seem to think if you keep watching it, it won't have the same effect on you, I am gonna to buy it though for when I am in my lowest of lows and to show people who loves us so much that He would die and set us free from death and rise again three days later after his resurrection. thank you Jesus even though we rebel and sin against you over and over again. We love you and long for you!! :amen:

I've seen the movie too, and was speechless as well. I couldn't really tell people what I thought about the film at the time, and I remember saying that I thought it was very thought provoking and done very well, but I didn't know if I wanted to see it again, cuz it was too hard to watch. Now it's coming out on dvd, in a way I want to get it so that I can lend it to people and also my husband hasn't seen it yet, but on the other hand it is not something I will choose to watch very often.

I will be buying it as well. I saw it twice in the theater, and I cried so many tears. I can't really put to words how it made me feel. I think it makes you really focus on the sacrifice Christ went through. I mean, you know in your head what He did, but it is hard to really know the horror of it. The Bible doesn't explain it in detail, because back when it was written, people knew how terrible it was. Now, I think a lot of people read that he was crucified and don't realize how terrible an ordeal it really was. It gave me a whole new appreciation of the sacrifice He made for me. What an awesome love!

I saw the movie for free at this theatre that one church was renting out to show the film to a bunch of people that cant afford to spend too much money on it. The moment the movie started i was in tears. I cried frantically throughout the entire film. I was so moved by how much God loves me that he died a death so brutal and so painful for me. That he'd rather die than live without me. So yes I will buy the dvd. And whenever I've forgotten, whenever I need a reminder as to how much he loves me, I can put it in and once again frantically cry but also joyfully praise him.
