{(c) 1994}
I am yet the one
It is no ones fault but mine
I tore open His Back with the whip I did crack
While in daytime the sun ceased to shine
He Loved me, though I cursed
His Name; evil deeds well rehearsed
Its His Face I had kissed
I drove spikes through His Wrists
And later, for me, His Heart Burst
I still was not satisfied
I was not yet sure He had died
With hatred so fierce
Its His Side I did pierce
And I gazed on with cold, evil pride
(With one foot in hell, I rang my own death bell
What I did should have been suicide)
But His Love Raged On, Stronger than I
It Cut Through the Earth, Sea, and Sky
And then Settled on me
No One Yet More Guilty
And Ill Be In His Debt Til I Die
