But the Holy Ghost does.Christ doesn't work on atheists, they don't believe in him.
No argument there.DeanW said:They have to stop being atheist first.
Did you not say earlier in this thread that your theology would not hold one accountable for something beyond their conscious control?Irregardless -- God is not going to accept anything an atheist has to offer in his defense as to why he didn't get saved.
So neither am I.
I did.Did you not say earlier in this thread that your theology would not hold one accountable for something beyond their conscious control?

But it is under their conscious control. So why would an atheist have to defend their lack of belief, when it is not under their conscious control?

I can assure you there are no atheists in Hell.
As to your point about children being born atheists, John the Baptist leaped in his mother's womb when Mary came to visit Elizabeth.
So that kinda shoots that theory down the drain IMO.
But it is under their conscious control.
According to the Bible, one chooses not to believe in God.
Atheism is not a default position; else God wouldn't call them "fools."
Children, by default, are saved by grace through innocence.
After they reach the age of accountability, they need to be saved by grace through faith.
If I tell you how you think, and I am wrong, am I still wrong? But it is under their conscious control.

Are you here just to ridicule?About as much as Casper the friendly ghost saves the day.
Davian, I'm not going to sit here and defend the fact that children aren't born atheists. Is it for you?
Are you here just to ridicule?
In our short conversation, you've said:
I'm almost afraid to keep talking.
- Children are born atheists.
- The Catholic church regularly "christens" atheists (despite the fact that I used the word "baptizes").
- The Holy Ghost is comparable to Casper the Friendly Ghost.
No telling how far you'll condescend.

That's just wrong on ten different levels.
Do atheists abort their own?
Have a good day.You say atheists don't exist, that your god and some spooky spirit are the "cure" for me and you cite a book written by sheep herders that says I deserve to die to deny every bit of reason and logic and information I would provide to you.
How much respect do you think you deserve?
It doesn't do it justice to say it this way (in your common vernacular), but you return: in your mind. How do you 'return' to something that is 'omnipresent'?
If that is your god, you should be able to address this post.
Did you forget to add "...but don't hold your breath"?You're right Davian. I should be able to answer it and I can.
Not when you are shooting blanks....
