If you go back to the page before you joined the thread and read some of the posts, you'll see there was a conversation happening. Granted, most of it revolved around teaching Chiliman basic logic...but it was a conversation. You haven't added anything to this thread except insults that you've thrown at atheists.

Doctor, heal thyself.Give us something tangible to discuss other than God does not exist and we might have something to say that is worth hearing. It is difficult to make intelligent conversation when the other person does nothing more than make cynical comments and off the cuff retorts that are meaningless.
As a retired teacher, I know that the language you use with primary kids is different to the language you use with VCE students. On here when I am talking to atheists I feel that I have to use primary school language as their ability to comprehend and their ability to articulate rational thought is just not there.
Personally I would much rather you would go away so that I can have a sensible and rational discussion with fellow believers who are not full of cynicism and sarcasm but that is not in my hands so I have to bear my cross accordingly.

That is not my position. There is not much more to do in response to untestable, unfalsifiable religious assertions than offer a sceptical response. Nicely veiled insult. Do you find that insults add weight to your assertions?

All the above and more.Oh that one is very simple. All you talk about is "religion" as though it was some monolithic expression of faith when that could not be farther from the truth. I can't remember the times I have asked atheists to explain what they are talking about when they say "religion does this" or religion does that" and to help them along I ask are you talking about the brutal muslims, the pacifist Amish, the pentecostals, the baptists, the Seventh Day Adventists that meet on Saturday, The Hindus who hate Christians, the Buddhists, the Mennonites who major on prayer, the Anglicans, the Methodists whose founder brought revival to England in the 1700s, all those missionaries who have given up everything to minister to the needs of the poor, orphans and hungry in Africa. Despite this prompting, I never seem to get an answer from them. Perhaps they don't know so they can't answer.

Oh, one of you who directly talks to God and he talks back! Wonderful! You might be just the person I am looking for.Religion is totally unimportant to me. What I major on is my faith in God. I don't need religion for that as it is a one to one relationship which I can enjoy anywhere, anytime and without interruption.
The scriptures say to pray without ceasing. That is me. I am talking to God all the time and he is talking to me all the time. If I want to know anything I just ask God and he gives me the answer. That way I don't have to ask myself "shall I do this" or "shall I do that" or shall I do the other." And you know what, when I do what he tells me to do, bingo, the desired outcome happens.
That is the trouble with atheists. They have this strange notion that religion is where God is at. That could not be further from the truth. God did away with religion at the cross. When Jesus rose from the dead, the curtain that separated the holy of holies which only the high priest was allowed to go into once a year by tearing it from top to bottom which was an indication that God was now available to everyone.
No man could tear it because it was very heavy and thickly woven almost like a door and if man tore it he would do it from bottom to top which didn't happen. It was top to bottom.
