"The Option"

You laughed, you yelled, you teased
but what you couldnt see
was that she felt the need
to bleed eternally

so she cut her wrists and wept
until she felt it was enough
but the scars she later kept
made life really tough

She felt that she was nothing
she felt no one would care
if she did something
no one else would dare

she tied a rope to a skylight
way above her head
then tied a knot so tight
right around her neck

A note on the bed
was found by her side
and when the note was read
all they did was cry

If you had just accepted her
for who she was inside
she wouldnt be in the dirt
she'd be right there by your side

So think about your actoins
and what they just might do
cus when someone makes killing an option
that might just be what they do.
