This is not just for the Iranian people but this is what I know.
A co-worker (originally from Iran) was listening to Persian radio over the weekend. She said when the people of Iran heard that President Bush was re-elected, they were celebrating in the streets. They were attacked by the police and beaten. She does not know if they were taken to jail or if anyone ended up in the hospital.
It's bad over there, and she said the people are reaching the point where they are closing to an uprising. If it happens and this regime is thrown over, the people are not going to deal with the European countries that supporrted this regime.
These people (and other oppressed people) truly need prayers to get them through these times. I just feel the need to pray for them, and I know they could use as many prayers as possible.
