So I just found out TODAY that they have made a remake of the classic The Omen for release of 6.6.6 (appropriate).

I am a HUGE fan of the original 5 (I believe or 4), and am VERY excited about the new release (plus I heart Stiles).

Does anyone else plan on seeing this movie? Thoughts?
I think the FAQ on the website for the movie is quite touching, as it honestly does recount (tell) of the biblical truth of the coming of the anti-christ, and all things concerning the mark of the beast.

Which is to be expected to happen. I have yet to see a horror/suspence remake that was as good as the origional that has been made in the last 10 years. :\

I will always love the classis (no doubt), so I am going to try and not even compare the two.

This one however (from what I have heard) offers more visual stimulation, and a few different looks into Satan (damien) - the future, etc.

I really like the original. When I saw a movie recently they had a preview of the new one. I think it looks really good, too. I can't wait to see it.

Seen the original film. Liked it better than The Exorcist.
