I found that people had a lot of trouble adjusting to new Carly in the beginning, but it seems like she is being accepted a little more these days. I feel that lways happens to new characters-- you are used to one actress, so the awkwardness of a new actress is interpreted as the actress not doing a good job. I happen to have loved this new Carly from the beginning, finding her to be a burst of strength to the character.

I admit I was a bit wary of Reese at first, but now that I see this whole story developing between her and Carly, I completely understand why I was wary-- and I like it! I am dying to see what exactly happened between the two-- they keep hinting but nothing seems for sure, which is leaving me constantly guessing. I get so in to it! So anyway, it has left me not only still enjoying Carly, but also really liking reese's involvement in the whole thing...

Well I still like the character of Carly... don't get me wrong. Just not so sure there wouldn't have been a better replacement.
I have a feeling the history between the two is about to come out, tho.

Well I already know she was Carly's best friend when they were younger.... she admitted that to Ric. Carly thinks she's dead. She set out to pay Carly back... and I think she still has that agenda. Maybe I'm wrong........

I don't think you are wrong as Reese wants to payback Carly. She probably is just an young and angry woman with a grudge up her rear! LOL!

Oooohhh... I am so glad yall started this thread. I go in circles w/ myself. I keep saying (when the show gets in a lull) that I am gonna stop watching, but then they go and make it interesting again and I can't NOT watch it. I haven't seen todays episode yet but there was quite a cliffhanger on Friday, so I can't wait to sit down and watch it.

I do NOT like the new Carly... I am used to her, but I find her just way too 'I want everything MY way or everyone around me WILL be miserable'... the other Carly played this part well -- this Carly can't do it IMO.

And I really wish they would spend less time on Michaels role in the show. I can't stand the fact that when this child enters the room everyone drops what they are doing, falls to their knees and begs to please him (ok, not literally). It annoys me to no end -- so much so that I just fastforward through it it drives me so crazy. I really do think this has been a problem with many fans cause the doctor keeps telling everyone to stop bending over for him -- they just don't seem to be listening!

I can deal with Michael right now in the sense that he is FINALLY growing up !

I just can't wait to see Sonny's reaction to Reese when he discovers Carly was right all along.The one thing I really wish they'd do , though, is give Bobbie the space she deserves! And let her pay back John Durant in the manner he so very richly deserves ! The guy can walk !!! He's faking ! He walked on today's episode !

oh well ....... things are getting fun, now, anyway...

Oh man...why can't they leave Jason and Sam alone for awhile..I like those two..
So they go on a vacation and are now kidnapped...sigh. I feel a dark shadows show coming on.....yikes!

Really ! At least, I had an inkling I had read somewhere that Jason and Sam (Steve & Kelly) were apologizing to their fans for what was about to happen to their storyline......
But, at least, maybe Reese and Sonny are history... I hope !
He didn't act very happy when he found out she lied ... suprise, suprise....

What is up with the Sonny character these days...for weeks now he has been acting with this dead look in his eyes...I know I read where he is very unhappy with his story lines these days...
I was at work today so didn't get to see todays show....but will catch it later tonight on soapnet...

I haven't heard that. I did hear where they want play up his connection with Emily , tho and he vehemently insisted it stay platonic...... lol that be part of it.... who knows?

1. Where is Brooks mom...? Brook is in the hospital....come on mom.

2. I prefer the old Felicia and why hasn't the new mom been around with Maxi in the hostpital...come on mom.

3. Yesterday..Reese grabbed her purse and went out the door...but on the other side of the door she didn't have her purse...lol

I'm so dissapointed in the Nicholas and Courtney storyline. People do say no, even on soap operas. That one was so obvious. They seem to be playing Bobbie and Lucas's story up a little more but I hope he is not the one drugging college girls.
It's about time for Carly to end up in the hospital again and become the center of everyone's attention.

IMO I thought Nick had better taste..... I mean I like Courtney,,,, but she aready has been thru 2 brothers.... then Jax... it oughtta tell him something.

Nick & Em are good together... better than anyone he's been with so far anyway.
As far as Jax, I still believe Brenda was the love of his life.

Is Jason getting his memory back? The headaches are becoming more and more frequent. That would explain why he wouldn't be able to serve as Sonny's hitman any longer.

No clue but I do know he is supposed to be hospitalized for something and when he "wakes up" he doesn't remember Sam . I think he may hang between what the old Jason was and what he is now.....

I haven't watched GH in years but I used to be hooked when I worked nights and only had local antenna stations. One of the most touching episodes of any soap I ever saw was on GH when the little girl BJ died in a car wreck, with just the perfect timing to donate her heart to save another child.


Of course I don't work nights anymore and typically stay on Scifi most of the time when I do watch TV but there was a time when I was a serious soap junkie and GH was my show.

Jax is a jerk!! Forgiveness just does not seem to be in his vocabulary and Emily is just as bad. How can they be soooo ...you know what I mean! And how are Lucky and Elizabeth going to afford another baby?

Well -- I guess everybody is getting back together... but it doesn't seem to have put out the fire between Nikolas and Courtney.

And ok -- it's bad enough that I still just do NOT like the new Carly... but now they have her going even more psycho than usual? Does anyone else get completely tense whenever she's on the screen? It's to the point where I can't stand to see her storyline anymore... but I can't stop either... ugh. I was watching that soapnet special they had on this morning in place of the view and her 'secret revealed' is that Sonny is going to take her in... then she said 'Are they getting back together?'. I SO hope not. I really like Reese and as sick as I am of Carly, I like that it's driving her crazy... I guess the only thing I am really happy about is that it seems the writers are listening to the fans and are making Carly get what she's long deserved... for everyone to quit running to rescue her like a helpless lapdog.

Is it weird that I actually feel bad about saying that about a fictional character on a soap opera? I would NEVER allow myself to feel that way about any real life situation... God would certainly not like it... so why is it ok now?

lol We can vent about fiction cause we know it's not real ! We all have vented about Carly at one time or another hahaha .. and I don't like the new one, either.
