After receiving a positive response regarding GH in that other "favorite soaps" thread, I took it upon myself to begin this thread which will now be the OFFICIAL General Hospital thread!

Here we can gossip, complain, adore, and do whatever regarding those characters we love to hate on GH! We can discuss each and every episode in detail (i have seen it on other baords and it looks fun!)

I think the hurricane is coming next week-- I am really excited for it-- i keep guessing who i think will be stuck where and with who they will be stuck with--- you know how fun these stories get! Any speculations?

Hmmm I wonder if Nickolas and Courtney will be together? They had a couple of "sharing" moments already..........

as for the hurricane, i could definitely see Nik & Courtney getting closer since it already seems that way a bit-- what does this mean for him and Emily?

Hmm not sure but they both seem kinda depressed that things aren't moving along for them as fast as they would like. Someone in a chat once asked Emily if they had ever considered putting her and Sonny together.... now THAT would be a pair ! lol

Reese ... who cares ? lol maybe she'll end up with Ric. No matter what she says, I still believe her agenda is to get Carly.

Hi I love to watch GH My husband and I have been watching it for 25 years. Question who do you think the bad cop is in Port Charles ? It was a good recasting of the new Maxie she looks so much like the old one. Thumbs down on the new Carly can't get use to her.

I think I like the new Maxie better & the guy seems to be a good match for her.

I really don't like the new Carly...... but I don't like Reese either. She's still got her own agenda no matter how much she pretends to Sonny her old life is behind her.


The dress was beautiful.... but lol Reese acted like a 2 yr old when she dumped her drink on Carly... THIS time Carly didn't ask for it !!! It was Her home & HER party.. Reese wasn't even invited. Personally, I think Liz should've had the dress ! She would've made it look good. Just my opinion.


So....any predictions about the hurricane ?

I really don't like the new Carly...... but I don't like Reese either. She's still got her own agenda no matter how much she pretends to Sonny her old life is behind her.

I found that people had a lot of trouble adjusting to new Carly in the beginning, but it seems like she is being accepted a little more these days. I feel that lways happens to new characters-- you are used to one actress, so the awkwardness of a new actress is interpreted as the actress not doing a good job. I happen to have loved this new Carly from the beginning, finding her to be a burst of strength to the character.

I admit I was a bit wary of Reese at first, but now that I see this whole story developing between her and Carly, I completely understand why I was wary-- and I like it! I am dying to see what exactly happened between the two-- they keep hinting but nothing seems for sure, which is leaving me constantly guessing. I get so in to it! So anyway, it has left me not only still enjoying Carly, but also really liking reese's involvement in the whole thing...
