CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've watched the original British version but I don't like it as much as the U.S. version.
The U.S. version I stopped watching before Jim and what's-her-name got together. I missed some episodes and lost the storyline. I absolutely didn't want to just randomly watch episodes that I didn't know what happened to get them there. Whenever it comes on TBS, and I think this fall it'll be on WGN, I don't watch. I'm weird like that . . . like with the show Lost and many other dramas nowadays -- if you miss an ep it ruins it, at least for me. I'd really like to start watching it again. Steve Carrell's character is kinda sad to watch, though; I know it's fiction but he's so pathetic. But it's funny and I'd like to watch the series all the way through some day.

I love this show. Every so often I marathon all the newest episodes. It's fun watching a show in 12 episode spurts.
