CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh gosh! I love them all but if I had to pick one of my top 5 would have to be Benihana Christmas, I also like the season finale because Jim asked Pam on a date

My favorite episode had to be last season when they went to the beach. Pam walked on the hot coals and then spilled her guts about Jim and I melted on my couch.

I loved the UK original.
It took a season for the US version to grow beyond its model.
I love the show. The characters are great, and the stories remind me of my office life.

I have the lot on DVD. seen all the first series and one of the Christmas specials, but not yet got round to watching the second series. The language can, to some extent be a bit crude and vulgar for my liking, but I can identify with so much of what is in them, the office with petty politics, and disputes, etc. I have met so many of the typical stereo types characters in it over the years, it is almost frightens me.

I've never seen the UK version - that was hilarious! Is Keith the equivalent of the Kevin character here?

He is. Kevin is the only minor character based on one from the UK series. Keith actually became far more popular after that scene was aired. You can see why! There's a few subtle differences between the two- I always get the feeling that Kevin's lack of social ability is down to genuinely not understanding, whereas Keith is incredibly intelligent, but doesn't really care about other people.
