I'm a big fan of Miracle Whip mixed with ketchup - it's like the secret sauce at Burger King, and close to Thousand Island dressing as well.kayanne said:Hmmm....ketchup on grilled cheese doesn't sound good, but I love to pile on hamburger dill pickles!! My dh likes to add Miracle Whip (which I unaffectionately refer to as "Miracle Cr*p").
I had forgotten until the other poster mentioned it, that I always loved sugar on buttered bread as a kid. Even better, sugar on buttered toast. Now THAT sounds good--makes me want to go make some, but I'm trying to cut out sugar. Splenda on toast just doens't have the same appeal.
oh oh oh! Me too! I'm a salt freak with everything though. When I was little I used to pour salt from the salt shaker on my hand and then eat it.Bizzlebin Imperatoris said:I personally love to put salt on my meats. When I am done salting my steaks, it looks like it was outside in a blizzard. Sometimes I can't see the steak, seriously
Ooh! Fun! I do that too!KCJls said:oh oh oh! Me too! I'm a salt freak with everything though. When I was little I used to pour salt from the salt shaker on my hand and then eat it.
Depending on what i have to work with i'll put either honey or mayonaise on my grilled cheese.... mmmmmclskinner said:Oh it's SO good! It tastes a little like a donut, but not as greasy. But I put ketchup on my grilled cheese sandwiches too, and a lot of people think that's weird.
SO GOOD people, so good.

That reminds me....did anyone see Jeopardy a couple weeks ago, when the category was "Gross National Products"? The questions were about various disgusting foods that are eaten in different countries. Unbelievable.prodromos said:
kayanne said:Oh boy........this was the wrong thread to come to this morning. It's 5:30 am on Labor Day, and I had planned to sleep in. But I was feeling a bit queasy and couldn't sleep (no I'm not pregnant!) so I decided to get up, sit in my favorite Lazy-boy chair, and read stuff on the computer.
All this talk about eating salt straight out of one's hand, and putting honey on grilled cheese, is doing nothing to help my queasy stomach!!
