  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I didn't read the book, but I REALLY want to see this. I used to watch Breaker High all the time so it will be nice to see Ryan Gosling in something other than that show. I wanted to go Sunday (Sundays are my only day off of work) after church, but there isn't an afternoon show for some reason! So, I guess I will be going Saturday night. I hope it will still be at the theatre then!

:sigh: such a good movie!!!
I have some friends who think that movies like this are a waste of time because it gives girls the wrong impression of love and they will set their hearts on a love that is unrealistic only to be frustrated when the relationships they are in are nothing like the ones portayed in hollywood.

But can't we just pretend? Beautiful movie with a lovely and REAL concept( especially with couples dealing with Dementia/Alzhemier's)

wow

Im usually not too big on chick flicks myself... but I've been to see it with my g/f and it was actually very good, something very strange happened afterward, when we were walking out,we got behind an older couple( 70's 80's) The husband was helping his wife to walk out. It just seemed very... right... at the moment.

I read the book and saw the movie. I loved both - each brought a different experience.

Ah, but love like that can absolutely be possible. I know. :)
