  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Woodrow Kroll: I'm Woodrow Kroll and this is the Bible Minute. Some situations in life are too big for us to face alone.

Child: Then I'll go to South Street and stop at the houses there.

Dad: Honey, what are you doing?

Child: I'm raising money for the hospital's new children's wing. If I can sell pencils to every house in town, I could raise lots of money.

Dad: It's a pretty big town. Do you think you can reach everyone?

Child: (unsure) Well…

Dad: What say you and I hop in the car and work together?

Child: All right!!!

Woodrow Kroll: Sometimes all of us need help.

In John 4 a nobleman faced an impossible situation. His son was seriously ill. In fact he was "at the point of death." But Jesus told him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the noblemen headed home and on the way, "his servants met him and told him, saying, 'Your son lives!'" The nobleman knew he couldn't handle this situation by himself. He needed help, big help. Only Jesus could provide a solution.

Maybe you're in need of big help today. Perhaps you're confronting something too huge to face alone. Why not turn to God and His Word? Jesus promised to be right there, helping us in every situation. Open your Bible today, and meet Someone who is both willing and able to help you.
