CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

oh, that is a hard one! I like to wear black and white, but since those are not colors, my next is red or pink....blue too! (I don't think I answered that...lol)

I enjoy celebrating my birthday. My mother calls me at the exact time I was born every year. And I answer the phone "Happy Birthday Mom" . And she and my sister usually come up to see me. My husband always gives me flowers and a really sweet card. My kids draw me pictures and smile and tell me they love me. Nope...I never could understand how anyone would think their birthday was just another day. That seems so sad. My birthday is the day that everyone I love reminds me that they love me too. And I don't know about you, but I need to be reminded at least once a year of that.

I love wearing my slippers! My feet are always freezing! My current slippers are pink and fluffy, inside and out. They are very comfy!
