My day was excedingly busy and productive. No one got hurt or sick. The computer didn't have any problems, there is money in the bank, and my husband's business meeting went well. Plus....he got done early and travelled 80 miles back home instead of going into his other job early....he says because he missed me. So yeah...it was a really good day.

Was today a good hair day, a bad hair day or a no hair day?

Bad hair, since I fell down those steps I'm in quite abit of pain when I try to put my hands on my head which makes washing my long hair quite pianful, so I'm not washing it as much as I should.

Get a good nights sleep last night?

(didn't have time to wash my hair yesterday, washed it in the sink this morning. I hate dealing with the hair thing. Sometimes I wish I could just shave it all off. But I already get enough flac...I don't need to create more for pushing the gender boundaries. People are so silly sometimes. Don't you wish you could just say "Hey, tend to your own beam" ? )

Got a good 5 hours and 17 minutes. :D

Are you good at rhyming? There's a really fun thread in this forum. Hope you give it a try. ;)

Wisdom Seeker,

Thanks for mentioning my thread.

As for hair, I keep mine short. Fortunately my husband doesn't mind. I actually look better in short hair. Once in a while I get tired of it being short and try to let it grow, but I can never make it even up to the in between stage. If it gets just a little bit longer than very short, I really can't do much with it. I have recently discovered root lifter tho, it helps quite a bit. Years ago, I had my hair highlighted and loved it, but I didn't want to spend the money on it. Finally after all these years, I decided to get it done again. It was pretty darn expensive and it didn't show up at all, not one person even noticed it. I'm going to try that "do it yourself" stuff, or have FR0G do it for me.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Kathie

You're welcome Kathie,
That Rhymin' time thread is a lot of fun.

I asked my husband if he liked my hair today. And he gave me the "good husband" response. "Anything that makes you happy, is fine by me" I was so frustrated a couple of days ago with my hair and the fact that women are expected to have foo foo hair that I almost went to a shop and had it cut off. I used to wear my hair short, very short. In fact, because my hair is wavy, and I grew up in the 60's when straight hair was the fad...my mother kept me in a pixie until I was old enough to protest. (Jr. High).

I hope you have a nice day too Kathie. Nice chatting with you.

Gosh Laurenda, you'd probably be pretty even if you were bald.

How do you feel about home parties? Example: Tupperware, Party Lite, Pampered Chef
(This would be a good question for the "how do you feel" thread.;) ) I'm a little embarassed to say that I really don't like even being asked to go to home parties.

How do you feel about fundraisers?

I don't like home parties either. I feel obligated to go and obligated to order something.

Some fund raisers are great, but others not so good. Sometimes the youth group sells things for a fundraiser. It's a great way to help out, but I like it better when I can actually use what they are selling.

I know...I guess it's the feeling of being obliged that makes me feel put upon. I don't like to feel that way. I like people to invite me over because they want to see me...not because I'm potential income. It just makes me feel so ill used.

I don't like fund raisers. I know that they serve a purpose. And I want to help out. But I don't think, especially with schools and youth programs that teaching children to be door to door sales men and have to deal with rudeness and rejection is worth it. I would rather just donate money. You know? You need help financing something, ask me to donate...but asking my kids to go sell stuff, or me sell stuff? With as freaked out as I get dealing with having to ask anyone for anything? It makes me physically ill.

The church high school has a basketball, baseball, football and volleyball team. The Bible college doesn't. And the church itself doesn't have member sports of any kind. Although we do get together for outreach basketball and play softball at the church picnic in October.

Do you like baked chicken?
