  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Being 'miserable' can come in various forms....and it most likely has nothing at all to do with the State one resides in, but on Ones own circumstances . Further, im surprised that the State of Washington or Oregon isn't on the list considering the extended time of raining, dismal , damp weather. That would do it for me and I wouldn't live there but one year .

I think some people are miserable no matter where they live while many people aren't miserable even in environments that would make most people miserable .

I live in sunny Florida ... and its amazing the amount of people who are miserable here ... even if they have jobs. To me, Florida is definetly head and shoulders above where I came from which was northern Illinois ; even though its far more dangerous driving down here and the summers can take a lot of you when outside too long.

A lot of people that live in WA and OR get S.A.D.S. syndrome which is Seasonal Affective Disorder Syndrome which is caused by the rain and dreary weather. I think it affected my husband. It did not affect me as much though. I loved it there except I do love sunshine and there just isn't enough of it in a year. And I love the beach. But I live in AZ lots of sunshine, no beach, no amusement parks.......it's a DESERT out here :D

I have met many miserable Christians. Look and act like it is "unChristian" to have fun or be joyful.

There is much on this forum that isn't "Christian"....most is neutral but some is definitely anti-Christian and still allowed. This isn't an area to discuss religious philosophy but rather just our lives as mature singles.
