What is the Bible, but the essential nature, inherent in man? By this, moral standard, as defined in the Bible, humankind will be, at the very least, the minute descriptions therein. Know not or witness not, wasn't it reason that destroyed Adam and Eve. Thus, knowing good and evil. Reason is the very explanation. Didn't God say, "Live as I say and do as well"? Adam and Eve didn't have a gospel to go by and they knew God. What God didn't say was that if you eat of that Tree, you will become confused by what you see, understanding my words will be hard to do. Thus, reason was born unto them. In humanity, those that do not know the Gospel or have not even bear witness to it, there is a definite example of the Bible. If said individual isn't out killing, being adulterous, etc. Humanity, in part understands the Gospel, but misunderstands its purpose. It's purpose was to be an example, a guide to live by. Instead, I have found that it is used also, in part, to condemn. Overall, condemnation referred to in the Bible, is that of the individual closing his or her own doors by certain actions spoke contrarily in the Bible. God is patient, do not misunderstand as God is always there to anyone that opens the right doors.
Is it alright to misunderstand or misinterpret the Bible? Is it okay to be morally sound, but still go to Heaven? Is it okay never to open and read the Bible? Are you a good person for not doing so?
