Now, if the sun's rays are coming in at the same angle at the same time of day, and a stick in Alexandria is casting a shadow while a stick in Syene is not, it must mean that the Earth's surface is curved. And Eratosthenes probably already knew that.

The idea of a spherical Earth was floated around by Pythagoras around 500 BC and validated by Aristotle a couple centuries later. If the Earth really was a sphere, Eratosthenes could use his observations to estimate the circumference of the entire planet.

Since the difference in shadow length is 7 degrees in Alexandria and Syene, that means the two cities are 7 degrees apart on Earth's 360-degrees surface. Eratosthenes hired a man to pace the distance between the two cities and learned they were 5,000 stadia apart, which is about 800 kilometres.

He could then use simple proportions to find the Earth's circumference — 7.2 degrees is 1/50 of 360 degrees, so 800 times 50 equals 40,000 kilometers. And just like that, a man 2200 years ago found the circumference of our entire planet with just a stick and his brain.

They may be stupid but this theory is only alleged, but there are some very high iced walls that surround the earth that God has used for boundaries. Read Job 38:8.

You didn't answer the post where I wrote about Rev 13; about how Christians might not be on earth to receive the mark of the beast and how a vaccination given in the arm is not the mark of the beast on the forehead or right hand.
I made several points in that post; all you said was "look up what Elon Musk wants to do in the future."
I wrote a post about Christians belonging to Jesus, not being snatched from God's hands nor separated from his love. A short while later when I said that I believed the earth is a sphere, all you said was "Satan will be pleased." Ok, so it was an answer of sorts - but you clearly hadn't understood what either I, nor the Scriptures, were saying.

1 Job 38 is poetry. Snow isn't literally held in storehouses. The sea did not burst forth from some enormous, cosmic womb, neither did God make a door and bars to keep it in place. Ice didn't come from a womb either.
Then again, as you need to ask if Australian people are upside down, maybe you don't understand this.
2. Job 38:8 is about the sea bursting forth from doors; it doesn't mention "walls of ice around the earth".

I can't argue scientifically because I'm not a scientist - but I don't need to.
You're the one who is saying, "that was made with CGI", "that's fake", "they were all made in a basement", without a shred of evidence.
You've said that all the journalists, media, authors of biographies etc were ALL lying, with no evidence to back that up.

You have to learn to read the Bible in context so as to find out what its authors were saying.
People can make the Bible say anything, and certainly what they want it to say, by taking verses out of context and saying "that was said at that time, to those people, therefore it must mean this for us too." Or, "this passage says this therefore it must be the literal truth" - even though God has given people the ability to find out more about his world, and we live in a different time and age.
