  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thats no good at all ! I know all about the friend card as well. I'm sure it will mean the world to them for you to be there for them !

I dunno... I am glad I am in a position to help. I have a lot of friends needing me right now... and it's stressful, but I am happy for it. And I am glad for once I feel like I am not the one always needing someone. I guess it's just hard for me sometimes because when I am sad or lonely, I just wanna be left alone to deal with my thoughts myself. Most of my friends would rather have someone there, and that's just not how I am.

I am the exact same way. It's kind of in most guys nature though. I've just never felt comfortable telling anyone but God all of my problems and frustrations. To me it's alot more healing to lift them up to God instead of throwing them all on your friends shoulders. Don't get me wrong though, it's good to have friends to be there for you as well. I'm fortunate to have a few like that myself.

I confess... I gave Gottabe the Blessings.... I did it because I haven't been able to get on here much and I know she likes to dress up her CF Av.... so I figured, the blessings would be better spent on her, not me.....
and I'd do it again to.....

in fact, I might just give some to Aaron if I come into more again.... so if someone wants to bless me, bless him instead.....

Rain makes me sleepy ! I love to sit on the porch in the summer and watch it rain though. Sometimes you can even smell it coming.
