I didn't say you were. My comment was merely prompted by what you wrote, whatever party you identify with. But if you want to disassociate yourself from them, it's noted now.A) I'm not a Democrat.
B) I support the rights of all people, including ignoramuses.
C) Whether people are ignorant or educated is independent of who they vote for.
I agree with most of what you wrote.
They're (Trump and Hillary) are both obviously corrupt. Hillary was at least corrupt within normal margins and had an understanding of government. Trump was corrupt and has shown himself to be as incompetent as he appeared.
Until about 2 days before the election, I was planning on voting for a 3rd party candidate, as I couldn't support either candidate. I did end up holding my nose and voting for Hillary as it was clear the election was going to be close, and I couldn't stomach the possibility of somehow contributing to Trump's election.
Hillary was a historically bad candidate. Trump is now a historically bad President.

Does one need to be a sincere christian to be president? What's a shame to me is that there were some Republicans in the primaries who were qualified, had far better character & were sincere Christians. Hillary & Donald didn't have to be the only 2 real choices on election day.
Well, you've corrected that now, haven't you? I would think that mistaking your allegiance because you post the same stuff as that which Democrats love to say is as natural as people mistaking me for a Republican. In other words, there's no need to go on and on about it.I've actually noted it many times in the past, because on these forums, disagreeing with the GOP gets one (incorrectly) labeled as a Democrat..

Agree on that. It is my opinion, many politicians feign being christians, to be more electable. No, but I think sincerity is a mark of good character. Now I know there's some phoniness in just about every politician in history. I think Pence is at least genuine about being a Christian, and not putting on a show to win over voters. If somebody says they're a Christian, they should make an effort to act like one. Trump doesn't, except for photo-ops of praying and the like.
I appreciate you taking the time to write all of that and I respect your position, but it's been long known that Russia has interfered in our elections going way, way back. They knew how the Russians would try to do it because they're in the inside. They're a part of the government. They know Putin's MO. They know his hatred for Clinton, so it was easy to predict they would go all out for Trump.
But it doesn't prove that Trump went all out for Russia's help or intervention. It doesn't prove that they colluded with the Russians or that they knew the details of it.
And yes, if you were running a campaign, and a friend emailed and said, "Hey, I know this person who has dirt on your opponent. Will you meet with her?" Of course you trust your friend. The email show exactly how the conversation went down. You don't have Trump soliciting her. She solicited Trump using a ruse of having information on Clinton.
This is clearly a witch hunt against Donald Trump. Just because it was accurately predicted that Russia would interfere, like it always interferes, like China interferes, like North Korea interferes, like the U.S. interferes in other elections, it's something that happens. And the only time the democrats make a stink about it is when they lose.
What's a shame to me is that there were some Republicans in the primaries who were qualified, had far better character & were sincere Christians. Hillary & Donald didn't have to be the only 2 real choices on election day.
Well, when you end up with 2 candidates that are one and two in regards to the lowest approval ratings, you know things are a tad off the tracks. What's a shame to me is that there were some Republicans in the primaries who were qualified, had far better character & were sincere Christians. Hillary & Donald didn't have to be the only 2 real choices on election day.
No idea. Do you know?
Political instability of the US.Question: What did the Russians want in exchange for whatever dirt they promised, and did Junior pay in advance?

Nice post. I think i pulled a groin, just looking at your picture. It's nearing three in the morning here - insomnia is holding me captive, so I'm too blurry- minded to address everything in depth, but this post articulates my reaction.
I have a summer research fellowship with a professor who is a policy expert and served as the policy advisor for the Romney-Ryan campaign. Obviously I haven't asked him about this post specifically, but we've talked about precisely what you've written here because it's the impression the Trump team has acrobatically tried to form, contorting and twisting around the truth in the process. As someone who was actively involved in running a campaign, he wholly and unequivocally disagrees with the above. It's insulting to campaign professionals to try to normalize that meeting as being "just politics". And it adds in hefty dashes of irony since Trump campaigned on a promise to end politics as usual......
All the lecturers and professors for a course I took this past winter quarter have extensive campaign experience; I don't believe any of them would have taken that meeting. They didn't get their jobs through nepotism, though.
Both the House and Senate intelligence panels are investigating Russian meddling in the US election. Both the House and the Senate are Republican controlled, as is the White House. Jr.. Manafort, and Kushner will be testifying about this notorious meeting next week.
Yesterday a memorial was unveiled in Salem where 325 years ago to the day 20 people suspected of witchcraft were put to death, including five young women who were hanged at Proctor's Ledge. It was the first of three mass hangings at that spot. There are people in present-day who truly are being persecuted cruelly and without foundation, where parallels can be drawn between their experiences and the witch hunts. Trump and his family and staff are not amongst those people - literally, politically, or figuratively - no matter how much he continues self-victimize on Twitter.
