CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You must have not seen the video at an after-show where Danzig tries to act cool and tough and gets the **** beaten out of him.

I like the original lineup but even then I think they are waaaay overrated. And too many bands cover the misfits.
After reading King of an Empire to the Shoes of a Misfit by Myke Hideous (the newfits replacement singer in between Michael Graves' two stints), I have NO respect for Jerry Only or Doyle.. both of them were horrible people(and even worse Christians) if only half of what Myke wrote is true.

Yes, they claim(ed) to be while Myke was in the Misfits. Apparently Jerry Only has claimed this for a long time. But they were Horrible people very hypocritical (don't do drugs Myke, but then they would pop pills and smoke dope - all while saying they were Christian). Jerry tried doing a christian band called Kryst The Conquerer before putting the Newfits together.
If you can bear reading a secular book you should look for "King of an Empire to the Shoes of a Misfit" by Myke Hideous - he tells all.
