Perhaps that's why the Constitution was not written with the intent of everyone being allowed to vote for either the President or for their Senators. And perhaps that will ultimately bring about our downfall
You don't seem to understand. How long ago was it that you took a statistics course?
It was not a slam. I was simple asking a question.Splain it then for us ignoramus's.
How can the middle 20% be shrinking (middle quintile.) Definitionally it is the middle 20% in the distribution curve.

Hmm. You think you would be happy for the Singaporean laborer who now has an option that goes beyond the scratching of his meager existence from the earth. Capitalism, unlike the altruism of the left, does not end at the US boarder. Like water, it seeks the path of least resistance. Put up bariers to capitalism here and it--along with the jobs and prosperity that accompany it--will flow elsewhere.

Our GDP is still the largest in the world and will continue to be so for quite some time. What's leaving are jobs because business owners would rather pay someone in Malaysia $15 a day to sew shirts than pay someone $15 an hour for the same work.
I pledge allegiance to the buck, of the economically united states of NAFTA, and to the outsourcing for which it stands...
