I've had Lew White's website in my favorites for years & years now. He writes some really great stuff, and I've read every bit of it. I've also read the debate between him, and Peter Ruchman [the founding father of the "King James Only Cult."] and Lew made the guy look like the babbling idiot he is. It was about time somebody put Ruchman in his place. Lew's business ventures don't change my mind about his body of work in the least. I still highly recommend his study articles.

You would be surprised what the Roman Catholic Church owns. Well, maybe not...LOL

I am a bit uncomfortable that this matter is on the website and it seems a bit messy to me. First who are those attacking Lew White. If it is serious, it should be better to discretely warn people by Email, unless it is clearly proven to be a scandal. Yeshua Messianism needs a Maimonides to bring some order in that. I am convinced that the rebirth of the Church of Jerusalem is a necessity to reconnect Pauline Christianity to Judaism, in order the church to fulfill the role of the Spiritual Israel, although many Jews do not recognize the Kingdom of Yeshua which is not of this world, neither they believe in Yeshua, because they expect as Moshiach a temporal leader, restoring the Physical Israel and positioning it at the leader nation of our present world. Maimonides said, ´the Moshiach will be proven as Meshiach, then this leader will vanquish all the enemies of Israel. What is not up to now what Yeshua did. What bothers me is that some Messianics diverge from the Nicene creed. Also anti- Paul does not help, because they cannot have an impact on the rest of Christianity. Therefore, we need a leading sage, able to develop a sound theology of Yeshua Messianism.

The concept of the so-called "Church" being "spiritual Israel" is replacement theology, and is not scriptual in the least. You should run from it like the plague.

I just stumbled upon this....James Trimm (never heard of him, but he's not a Jew)
has his own sect (Nazarene something or other) and his own beit din and has declared Lew White "innocent".

Not that I think James Trimm or his "beit din" holds much weight for most people...

Yes he does....he proclaims himself a Jew, but if you search around the
web you find he is anything but.

I took a quick look at his website....he is someone very full of himself.

He's a common thief! I reported him to the FBI because he took my money and refused to send me the goods. I discovered from the FBI that he has done this to numerous people around the world. There are web-pages that show his doctorate is doubtful to say the least!!

Beware of him and any group he is linked to!

Heber is right. The man is a rip-off. Many years ago he "translated" the entire bible putting back original Hebew names of people, places, things, and some sentences. It's called simply The Scriptures. Actually, it reads pretty good, at least, not terrible. At one time it was available through eSword, so I have a free copy. But there are hundreds like Heber who never got the copy they purchased for over $50, along with other items he made available.

I read the site on this Lew person, but had never before heard of him.
It's sad that even MJ/Gism is finding itself full of liars and thieves and people with their own agendas.
I've seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears, both Gentile teachers and Jewish teachers SELLING tallises that they have prayed over and anointed, promising they are now good to bring about healings and prosperity, all for a "love donation" of such and such an amount!!!

Even so, Messiah, come quickly!!

That's where I obtained my copy too. E-sword is a wonderful tool, and I use it every day. The Scriptures '98 is a pretty good Bible version too. There's others I prefer, but it's not nearly as bad as the King James Version.

Trimm's first translated Bible was called the HRV and was being sold from mid-2004 for $65+ p&p. It was, apparently, published in India. Trimm then lived in Texas (I got his home address from the 'who is' facility on the internet so I could report him to his local police). He started to invite me to join his internet 'Nazarene college' earlier this year (2010) but when I logged in and asked for my money back, plus interest, on the forum I was immediately banned for life!

Yes, and I have to worry about those men when judgment comes- and people leading the other problematic areas of this movement, and the churches as well.

Why do people tolerate this kind of charlatan? Between him and that moron Michael Rood people should have alarm bells ringing that something is amiss in the area of accountability and authority in the MJ movement.

Actually yedida, I didn't know this at all. I don't watch TV Evangelists and I tend to float around different church circles than a lot of posters here.

It's actually kind of embarrassing at times. People mention popular names and I have to Google them. People mention things that they have experienced in their churches and I am forced to admit I have never seen such things, because I haven't been exposed to them. One of the reasons I come here is to learn about what happens in the big bad world out there.

As for TV Evangelists jumping on the Hebrew Roots movement, that too is awful news indeed. Theology and Jewish identity are not gimmicks. Is nothing sacred to those men and women on TV?

I couldn't agree more. I can only imagine what kind of judgement HaShem will pass upon those guys. YIKES!

And from a NT perspective, Sha'ul tells us that teachers will recieve a harsher judgement. You would think people who believe the NT would take that seriously.

The REALLY sad news is not just the televangelists but the fact that in ordinary churches the same bandwagon is being rolled out - if not to sell things then certainly to teach rubbish in relation to MJism.
