After viewing the video clip I can understand why your stated views are so wide of the mark. May I suggest you review church history from a more objective and accurate source? Perhaps you'd benefit from this?

Yes, Doug Batchelor is an SDA guy. He's the one who Rev Randy and I watched explaining how God's throne is in the Orion Nebula. We, somewhat naughtily, couldn't stop laughing about the idea that heaven had been located and it was a few dozen light years away from Earth.

The above is a picture of the Orion Nebula with some art work that looks vaguely like a throne, I am not sure if it is from a SDA source. I found it on a web page that identifies the Orion Nebula with God's throne and with the portals of hell and such like stuff; possibly it is from somebody with a vivid imagination.

It would be more beneficial for SDAists to steer clear of painting the RCC as 'the seat of the anti-Christ' or whatever nonsense they believe about the RCC in relationship to the anti-Christ as that entire line is utter nonsense.

I'll be the last person to justify the RCC's fine print red tape system as I too believe it is exceptionally and still potentially deadly to persons and societies and is so in black and white for anyone to read, but to take that to the extent of the SDA is extreme to say the least.

I will always raise an eyebrow whenever the RCC decries violence as they happened to exemplify a massive amount of it themselves.

We don't realize how much of our world structure has been formed, even quite adversely, because of RCC violence and political intrigue from the past and how much of our political and judicial structures are based on RCC positions (that still exist) which were largely integrated/updated from Roman (worldly) law.

There is no more deadly brew than the phony two edged sword of religion and government. Many Islamic countries are reminding us again about this lesson.

Were the SDAists in bed with .gov I really doubt it would be much different. The problems of humanity reside much deeper than these surface matters that the SDAists banter about.

It's called sin and unfortunately we are all infected to the core. And equally unfortunately most christian sects try to sell their adherents a 'pass' by that issue on so many contrived positions it's hard to keep track of them all.
