The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth...

Matthew 5:5
5 God blesses those who are humble,
for they will inherit the whole earth.../NLT

Psalm 37:11
11 The lowly will possess the land
and will live in peace and prosperity.../NLT

This same thing is in both the old and new Testaments. The meek shall inherit the earth. What does that mean?
When does it take place? It seems like it means this earth, so I'm guessing it might be during the Millenium?

The meek leave thier vindication to God.
The meek endure persecution and rejection because they know God will eventually vindicate.

They will inherit the earth and the new heaven and new earth.
They will inherit all that God created for His kingdom.

This inheritance is in its initial stage now.
This inheritance will intensify during the 1,000 years.
This enjoyment of inheriting God's creation will continue into eternity.

The universe was made for man in God's purpose.
The whole thing was made for His kingdom which is God and man united in oneness.

If we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all other things needed will be also supplied.
This "all these things" must be His creation in all of its positive aspects.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matt. 6:33)
