Here is a poem i wrote just cuz i luv to write poems! haha! hope u like it! I read it in front of my church and im hopin to get it published....one day! haha!
This feeling that brings great sadness
To know that there is a man up there on that cross
To me is total madness.
I know the man up high i the air
Has died for u and me
And I know the man up high in the air
Suffered to set me free.
There are people right beside me
Spitting at the man on the cross
I know they wouldnt be doin it
If they just knew they were lost.
I feel my heart breakin
I feel tears rollin down my face
As i wait for this man's sweet
Loving and caring embrace.
He looked at me and smiled just one sweet smile
And my heart felt really light
As i returned His smile I knew
That everything would be alright.
I knew His time to go was soon
And i knew that he must go
But before he leaves i wish he would know
How much I luv him so.
I heard somebody whisper to me
'child, dont worry for this man,
Instead worry for the people
In your hometown land.'
I took his advice and started prayin
For the people here
And sometimes i felt his prescence
And sometimes it was near.
So near that one time i thought i heard,
'He is not really dead,
He will rise again in 3 dayz'
Said the voice inside my head.
3 dayz after that man up there died
I sat in my fav soft chair
And i whispered, 'What will happen to us'
As i looked up in the air.
Someone came runnin in the door
And he said 'He's alive, He's in this very town!'
And i ran through the door and into the streets
In just one wuick bound.
My heart was quakin with fear and love
When i saw him comin
I felt my eyes fillin with tears
My hands and feet were numbing.
He held me close and said
'dont worry it'll be allright'
And i knew it really would be alright
As i went to bed that night.
This man forgives all your sins
And all that u do
If u just read what i wrote
Then u should love Jesus 2!
