• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here's a game evolutionists can play.

Simply print it out, and you can have hours of fun making your favorite species of animal.

Or you can print about 200 trillion sheets and daisy-chain cyanobacteria to man.

Enjoy! :)

This is a very rough estimate of number of combination possibilities on your score card. My math is probably way of, but I didn't put much energy into it.

60!

Please correct my math.
-----
Your computer monitor can display 256^3 possible colors. That is 16,777,216 different shades of color.

If you have a 200 by 200 canvas, you have 40,000 pixels.

How many possible images are possible?

AV, we are only on post #12 of the thread you created. Can you answer my question, or address my previous post?

Or is this just some attempt at a lame attack on science?
You're welcome to read the thread I linked you to.

I got that figure by using the number of Hertz from red light to blue light as an indicator of how many different species would be required to daisy-chain cyanobacteria to mankind.

It's an arbitrary figure I chose to use from the thread's OP.

I read the thread.
AV, do you know what an analogy is?
The OP of that thread was an analogy.

The OP of that thread was an analogy.
Am I going to have to repeat this a third time?

I know it's an analogy, but I have chosen to use it as a basis for the number of generations from cyanobacteria to mankind; since I have asked before and no one ever replied ... (that I can remember).

Now that I have come up with a number, it seems people want to question me on it, and I'm not interested.

I'm sticking with that number, and it's certainly your prerogative to disagree.

AV, to make it simpler, how many images are possible if the image is only ten pixels wide by ten pixels wide?

This is disingenuous. You are making crap up to stroke your ego. While scientist may not know the number of generations, they don't arbitrarily make feces statements like you do.
Goodbye.

It's called 'I dare you to have the slightest clue what macroevolution is'.
Science IE Evolutionists do not have "the slighest clue" so why or how would you expect us to? It really is not our job to answer their questions for them. It is pretty much every man for himself. Everyone has to find their own way and everyone has to find their own truth in life. No one else can do it for them.
