I cut my teeth on a Mac Performa.

My Dad's been a Mac Geek since before I was born.

He's way more Die-Hard Mac than I am. He regularly teases my mom by saying he's going to get the old Apple logo tattooed on his bicep.

I'm using a Mac mini right now.

And my iPod (it's an old one - but still tickin'!) is patiently waiting for me in my room.

We always had Macs (with my mom's ex), and then they broke up.. and my mom got a PC. Well, last year I was very happy to get an iBook.

Can't beat a Mac as far as I'm concerned.
Easy operating system, pretty dependable, you can fix just about anything that goes wrong yourself, and there are very few Mac viruses or worms around.

Plus, you get to hang out with other Mac Geeks.

I always wanted to have a Mac... recently I bought a cute little 12-inch iBook G4 on an online auction... I can't wait for it to finally arrive here I'm sure I'll love it I just hope it will work well, because buying stuff on online auctions can be risky...

12" Ibook is a really nice machine. Great form factor.

I have a mac mini, it works nicely. I would happily replace my laptop with an intel mac because I simply cant dump windows all together. Some school and work stuff just require it.

Yeah, I have a 12" iBook G4.
I was taking online courses and they wouldn't work on my computer so I had to use my mom's.

You needed to have Windows for their website to display properly.

I love my computer. I thought about getting an iMac for my mom and I, so we would both be happy, but I didn't... and now I am thinking about moving out to go to school so I would like a MacBook, but I don't know, will probably just keep mine.

MacBooks seem great, but they are expensive... that's why I decided to buy a used iBook. I'm glad you love it, I think I'll love mine too. Especially since there's a wireless internet connection at my university, so I'll be able to spend time online on it when I'm bored.

Thanks! I'm enjoying it... it's very cool! I haven't tried connecting it to the internet yet, though... I have to do it in my university, because they have a wireless hotspot.

And not being able to right click.

Yes... well, I found out that clicking with the ctrl key pressed is the same as right clicking.
