Does anyone have a church that has lost people with no explination? Here is the question I ask, why isn't anyone going after them? I have been in a few churches who don't seem to care enough to make a real effort to go after those who have fallen away. Not to say that not being in a certain church means they fell away, but what if their reason for not going is a loss in faith? I believe every church needs people who care enough to go after the lost. I would dare say comities should be formed to seek God on this and to do it.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I agree. I myself have left a church for the lack of fellowship and reaching out within the congregation...something I needed while facing a difficult time. It seemed to me, people were so busy trying to save the lost, they were losing the saved!
