Hey everybody! Happy Friday or I should prolly say TGIF
But anyway, I have something VERY special to share with my brothers and sisters in Christ! Now, I know some of you may already know this and most of us do, but awhile back I heard the saying that You can read a Bible verse MANY times and STILL not recieve all the Lord is trying to reveal to ya about Him. So true, so true. Happened to me many times, but this is something the Lord showed me DIRECTLY in my prayer time with Him.
Okay here it goes ( I hope and pray that someone is touched and recieves comfort):
Okay, well I was having a pretty rough day yesterday, nothing out of the ordinary, but still it was pretty rough. I'm still believing God for many things right now, well basically for EVERYTHING as many of us are, lol. But, I was just by myself in my room on my bed spilling my heart out to the Lord and crying because I couldn't hold it in. Well, after I was quiet for some time, out of nowhere I just heard in my spirit "mother". And I desire to be a mother someday so I was like "why is the Lord talking to me about this now when I'm hurting so bad like this???" But Jesus ALWAYS knows what He's doing. So, I cried out, "Lord I can't be a mother! I don't even know how to be a good daughter or a good big sister!" (of course my self-esteem needs work in this area ) But anyway, all of a sudden He said to me, "Yes you can, and you are a great daughter and a wonderful big sister. You're not prefect and you don't have to be." So I was starting to feel MUCH better already! I mean the King of the Universe just told me I would make a great mother someday, what more could I ask for ya know? But then, He also said something else after that and it just made me cry tears of joy. He asked me "What would you do Erika if your child was crying and hurting the way you are right now?" And I said with tears running down my face, " I would pick him or her up (I'd like a boy and a girl ) and just cuddle them, and sing to them (can't sing though, hehe), and just love them and make them feel SO protected. I would fight for them and give them the world if I could, Lord." And DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID TO ME??? He said "That's the SAME way I feel about you right now." 
He showed me a part of Himself I had never really seen before like I did last night. His "mothering" side if that makes any sense. He showed me the side of Him that just wants to love His children and dry all their tears and make them feel loved and protected in His gentle arms, just like a mother would want to do for her children when they are sad. I NEVER felt the Lord's heart for me like I did yesterday night on my bed with tears running down my face. And I've never cried tears of joy the way I did last night either! I just thought that was SO awesome how the Lord gave me sort of a parable thing kinda, lol! I didn't get it until He showed me why He put the word "mother" in my spirit! Isn't that awesome!
I pray that someone's comforted! The Lord really HURTS when we're hurting and one of His greatest desires is to just be a nurturing Father to us when we are sad. He DOES NOT delight in our sadness, but He knows what's best for us and sometimes He needs to prune us with these different experiences we go through, but He sees our hearts and knows our hurt. Remember, we are one in spirit with Him and He's fighting for us right now! Man, when we go through all these trials, it's like definately not in vain cuz' there's someone out there who needs to be encouraged by what we've learned. That's so awesome to me. Thank You, Lord Jesus. I love You Father!
