THE LORDS PRAYER
Aramaic Translation (Aramaic comes from Hebrew language dating back to 3rd century BC.)

English: Our Father
Aramaic: Ab=father Abba=daddy and the aramaic version of Lords prayer says) "Abba"

English:Hallowed be thy name.
Aramaic: "yitgidash shemak" (Literally means magnified and sanctified)

English: Your Kingdom come
Aramaic: "tete malkutak"

English: Give us today our daily bread.
Aramaic: "lachman de'lmahar" (The bread is the Kingdom of God. Actual translation is 'the bread of tomorrow, give it to us today'.)
"hablahn yoma den" (give it to us today).

English: Forgive us our debts as we forgive those with debts against us.
Aramaic: "ushevoke lahn habanenon" (forgive us our debts.)
"gidesha bachnan lehey ave non" (as we forgive those who debt against us.)

(Note: Those two verses are linked together and cannot be seperated. If we do not understand this forgiveness of others debts we will never understand the full experience of Gods forgiveness.)

English: And, protect us from evil.
Aramaic: "we lata elanon le nes yon." (Protect us from the temptations of the evil one.) (le nes yon = evil one)

English: Amen
Aramaic: "Omein"
