Im not happy with what i did but i do praise the Lord for protecting me for the stupid mistake that i made a couple days ago, and really at 27 years old i should not have made this mistake. But i came home from work and a couple hours later, i took my 100watt heat lamp off my tortoise cage and put it on my wood endtable near my bed. Because i got a large plastic tote and i have a hole in the cover big enough for the heat lamp to sit on to cover and put heat in the tote. And i went and i sat on my bed probably around 10 at night and fell asleep and didnt get up until 4am and when i got up i went into the kitchen i smelled something burning, and went back into my room and so smoke coming from my lamp on the desk so i picked it up to find this giant black hole on my end table. And my first question when i picked up the lamp given how big the hole was, was how did this not catch on fire, doesnt make any sense? The hole was not even char red it was just black and burning away. So needless to say i wont ever do that again. I wasnt even planning on going to bed yet i sat down to watch a couple music videos and then was gonna finish up, but ended up zoning out.
