This is something I've noticed, just living every day life: The Lord provides. There are several scriptural passages alluding to this, so you can pick your own. But to share:
I've been fortunate enough to have a comfortable retirement set up. But I know a lot of people who didn't plan their retirement out, or let it pass by without preparing for it. But I see somehow these people manage to get by, I always see it as evidence that God provides. Some people inherited some money from a wealthy relative, and the windfall allows them to live well or get by. Some people have children who help them out or live with them and share the costs. Some people remain healthy and motivated long enough to work late in life. Some people have friends, family, or government programs to help them out.
Here's a different example. I know this woman who doesn't cook, she has a fear of fires and won't use the stove or oven, and more recently not even the microwave. But she has a meager appetite, and often just likes to eat something like raw vegetables and cottage cheese. Or she will often treat herself to dinner out. But it's surprising how many people take her into their homes and feed her dinner, or take her out and treat her to meals at restaurants. Meanwhile, I'm cooking my meals. But I have to admire God's work that He keeps her fed. Anyone else have any sort of similar stories about God providing?
