Random collection of what my thoughts these past few days since arriving in Thailand for my one-week vacation:
1. Money cannot bring joy the way God can.
2. I am utterly and completely dependent on God.
3. Praise Jesus that I am an adopted daughter of God! Looking around me here, I understand what Paul wrote of in Romans 9:22-24.
4. I wanna do something really worthwhile with my LIFE.
5. I dress really conservatively... I'm very very modest.
6. I hate bargaining for a lower price. I hate the idea that the person selling me the item is out to rip me off. I hate not knowing what the true worth of the item is, and being cheated and taken advantage of.
7. Mmmm.. The food here is delicious.
8. Mmm.. despite the haggling, I've gotten some great clothes!! More shopping tomorrow!

A few reasons why I shouldn't be upset that my 5 year old is leaving for kindergarten tomorrow.


1. He will be learning how to read
2. He will be starting a new chapter in his life
3. He will be making new friends
4. He will be becoming independant
5. He will be enjoying recess time
6. He will be in a christmas program this year for the 1st time
7. He will be there with his older brother (he can protect him... )



(I am going to miss him, but I hope that he has a great day tomorrow. Please pray for him and me that we make it through the day!)
