WASHINGTON (AFP) - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) and President George W. Bush (news - web sites) are neck-and-neck in their race for the White House, but Kerry is seen as a bit more likeable according to a new poll out just ahead of the second presidential debate.

You've got to be kidding me. I might not like some of Bush's policies, but he sure is one heck of a likeable guy (on a personal level). Kerry? He's about as likeable as a porcupine.

I haven't met either one myself, but from what I have seen; Kerry is kind of stiff but intellectual, Bush is kind of arrogant and smug and goofy at the same time. But I could be way off on both of them, like I said I've never had the pleasure.

Between Bush and Kerry though, I think Bush would be more fun to hang out with. He has a ranch and ponies.

Hee, hee. I haven't met either of them. But I can tell you I'd much rather hang out with someone with Judeo-Christian ethics who doesn't put a finger to the political wind to see what opinion to voice.

I would give hanging out with Bush a shot, but I would have to sign the pledge of support thing. I think we should get to try it before we buy it

Have we entered the Twilight Zone? Kerry likeable??!! Was the poll rigged?

this must've come out after the debates. Relatives of mine who have always talked about how much they like Bush on a personal level, now think he sort of acts like a whiney, and childish jerk because of the debates.
