Deuteronomy 7:
22 And the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you little by little; you will be unable to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.
23 But the Lord your God will deliver them over to you, and will inflict defeat upon them until they are destroyed.
Unacknowledged sin remains until acknowledged.
The Holy Spirit is unveiling the secrets of our heart
to the Light of Truth, and doing so in the everyday
circumstances and personal interactions that are
common to man. Once revealed, we are forgiven
and cleansed in the acknowledgment/confession.
There is no penance. Just Life.
1 Peter 4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for
us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for
he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
All that the Spirit humbles in our flesh elevates
our spirit/inner man to a mount of transfiguration.

Mark 9:2 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.
A Process of unveiling, glorifying the son of man
at the Cross of Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
In the Knowing and the Doing
Romans 12:
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
