Ok, I've been asked this alot by people I know outside of the web. So I thought I would gather my story together here. Hope you guys don't mind.
I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. My house was a christian home, well my mother liked to believe that it was at least. But she did a great job raising my borther, sister and me. We went to church all the time, but that was about as far as that went. When I was about 6 my mother and father started to get in alot of agruements and eventually got a divorce when I was 8. My father kinda sorta disappeared for about a year and a half, so my mother took over fully for her kids. It was a rough three years, my mother only earned about $3.50 at the church. Needless to say, we became poor... but I never really felt the change, mainly do to sacrifies my mother made for us. She would only eat one meal a day most the time so we could eat for two or three off leftovers. My grandparents, her parents, tried to give money to my mother, but she wouldn't have any of it... too proud. So they bought food for us. Like lunch snacks etc.. While my mother was working for the church, she also participated in a group called Keep It Sold. They basically go before Congress and convince them to continue to fund the Space Station. While working there she was offered a job at NASA. (the Lord always provides) Things started to get better, slowly. But I was already in high school by then. I never did much through intermediate with the church, except get confirmed, and I didn't start in high school either. I got into parties and alcohol. I found myself in unpure relationships with girls. This continued into my first year in college as well. When me and my last girlfriend broke up, I found myself re-evaluating my life. I had met alot of christian girls over my two first semesters but never thought anything about it... but when my calling to the Lord occured they were there to help. And so over the summer I turned to the Bible, and I found the answers to my questions in God's word. My my third semester I planned to rush Kappa Upsilon Chi, a christian fraternity on campus, but I didn't feel strong enough as an individual christian to join yet. So I waited and continued to study the Bible on my own. Then this semester I joined and I've had more fun studying and learning the scriptures than ever.
I hope you guys liked it
Any advice would be appreciated on how to make it flow, I may add more as the thoughts enter my mind later.
