Last night I was thinking about what went on in here yesterday and it really bothered me.

WE ARE ALL HUMAN and make mistakes. Whether it is a thread that is started or a comment that is made that might offend someone.
But, if we consider each other friends and family then we should be able to go to the person and say to them that what they did or said offended me or do you realize how this came across to others etc. We shouldn't have to worry about someone posting something about us here or in other threads as to what offended them or what the other person did. We shouldn't have to worry that if we do or say something wrong then everyone will leave or stay away from certain threads. As brothers and sisters in Christ shouldn't we love and accept each other through the good the bad and the ugly and be willing to forgive an offense. IMHO

I am REALLY saddened by some of the comments here.
I was out yesterday and I come back to this!!

I was going to apologize for creating this thread- but I'm not!!! I am sorry that some of you were offended by this thread and some can't see the real reason why it was created!!!!

To be offended for having a place to vent and share....FOR PRAYER????? Come on folks!!!!!! What is wrong with that????? STOP!!! Think about what you're being offended about!!!!!!

This is why people leave CF. Because people take something that was meant for good and turn it around.

Nothing personal, bro, but for some of us who have been on FF's and CF for a few years, or even longer, find that we can chat or vent or cry or pray on any thread where we find our friends.

I don't see what other purpose "fellowship threads" are for, besides fellowship. Joking is part of it, but so is sharing our lives.

I came here after a very tough divorce and I would not have made it if it was not for a select few FF brothers and sisters.

Coolmom - We've both been here since '05 and we've all been thru stuff. Maybe some worse than others - but this is not a contest.
This IS part of fellowship. Putting it in a separate medium can give us a location where we can come and pray for specific items people have shared and not have to read thru all the silliness and fun (which I love) and get right to it.
And like you said - sharing our lives! I thought it was a good idea to have it separated

Obviously some of you can't see the good this can actually bring!!

Guess what - There are PRAYER WARRIORS out here and sometimes we come on here specifically to pray for some of you! And what better place to look than here!!

As soon as I read Grammy's request for her daughter I began to intercede on her behalf!! If this thread was created just for her, then so be it.
Something good DID come out of this thread....

I just said that sometimes we used all of the fellowship threads, except for the games, to visit, vent, pray, and more.
I know what you meant by having a thread to bring stuff to, to pray about; but isn't that the Prayer Thread?

This is different from the prayer thread. Not everyone vents there. I was trying to create a combination.
