The fact that you're not willing to state the reasons why you left them casts a shadow of doubt upon the trustworthiness of their practices.

Take time to listen to the testimonies of those who have been healed...

To be a good faith preacher you have got to learn to use the name of Jesus and the ability to say rather wildly, "Can you raise your hands and shout Amen with me somebody?!?"

Speak to the mountain in power, faith, and in the name of Jesus!

I mentioned one practice I disagreed with. I am not here to defend TLR, as stated I am not part of their group any longer, but rather to defend truth which they do teach some

I have seen a lot of miracles and I have seen a lot of people healed. I think the Bottom line is that the Bible is made up of the old and the new covenant. IF we do our part of the Covenant then we can be sure that God will do His part of the Covenant. When we read: "I am the LORD that healeth thee." then we need to find out what we need to do to receive healing from God.

"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land". 2 chronicles 7:14

In this passage I think it is clear who receives healing: "My people" or the people of God. Healing is the children's bread. we need to be humble, pray and seek the face of God and turn away from our wicked ways and then God will heal us.

If people are preaching and teaching healing without repentance then I would ask what scripture they are trying to base that healing on.

Yes, but I doubt Jesus would have posted a YouTube video of himself healing the blind man. He often told people not to say that he had healed them. It seems a little self-aggrandizing (sp?) to me

The Pool for Siloam was full of people who needed healing but Jesus only healed one.

what faith is this group? Also healing in JESUS name and by the power of the holy spirit is biblical and fine i've seen unexplainable miracles myself done by using JESUS name. I just find it odd though how they suggest they meet people and give people the power of The Holy Spirit to just go heal..that seems odd. The bible indicates healing isn't just something everyone who has the power of The Holy Spirit to do just like prophoecy or any other gift.

But yeah performing miracles and seeing them is still a thing for today and i have already used myself as anecdotal evidence in a way lol. Just have to be careful...many phonies out there..and many "staged miracles" or where someone is payed to say they are healed from this or so in certain prosperity churches

I didn't see any miracles, speaking in tongues and slain in the spirit, but no actual healing. There have always been Christians like them, into miracles and enthusiastic in their worship. I believe God answers prayer and have no problem with miracles, all I'm really seeing here though are some people involved in highly emotional worship. It's really not all the uncommon in certain Christian circles historically or in modern times.

There are some inconsistencies, although I would say this. If healing is needed and there is no other believer around be sure that the Holy Spirit will grant you that gift to use for the Father's glory!

I would consider that a sign then, my grandad did something like that for my Dad, a hammer fell on his head (they were working on a tree house in Mississippi) and my Grandad (a pastor) said in JESUS name and laid hands on his head and the blood that was coming out stopped.

A sign in the bible was more of a circumstantial thing, maybe someone didn't have the gift of healing for example but God would use them anyway because he needed someone to heal someone.

based off some of the videos I have watched they seem to have apostolic/pentecostal beliefs to a degree could be wrong though only seen a few so far.

They consider themselves a completely different group with no ties at all to any denomination. That's where they get their name from actually

Yeah I guess what I mean is it's kinda like non denominational churches like.

Like here in Houston TX we got a bunch of them but they come across as having a similar belief system to baptist.

So far this one seems to if anything lean towards pentecostalism when it comes to the emphasis on baptism and the holy Spirit speaking in tounques. But I have noticed differences so far such as the fact that they don't seem to believe in the typical church setting at all. ALso the way he prays over people is different

I agree I wouldn't put non denominational or this with another faith altogether but just each one leans somewhat towards an existing faith. LIke the non denominational churches make the same claim here in Texas they don't identify with another faith but just you can look and notice certain similarities with baptist

1 Corinthians 12

If the Holy Spirit wants to give gifts of healing or any of the other gifts it is not for man to judge Him for it. And the body is made of many parts. I try not to judge other parts of the body, but it appears some of the other parts do. This scripture clearly says you cannot say "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit. Accusing people who do this and bring glory to God. Verse 31 even says you should desire the greater gifts and healing is greater than some and warrants being listed here.

This does not mean there are no false prophets and fakes, but because there are does not mean you should discredit genuine ones. It requires discernment. Do not discredit that which is from God with that which isnt are it appears some on here are doing.

Well when I said they are not affiliated with a denomination I literally mean they view themselves as the true extension of the Acts church with no connection even to "non denominational" groups. I went through their "Pioneer School" where their leader/founder Torben Sondergaard teaches his doctrine, and the first 2 or 3 are focused completely on the errors of modern denomination s including Pentecostals and nondenoms and why TLR is different.
